Rds 22-30 (21/10/2010 08:06)

They don't matter. I'm not getting relegated & not getting promoted.

Ok, moving on. The rest of the season is about training. I've already bought 3 players this season & fully intend on maxing out on friendlies to build up my young players. I want to see at least 1 more Q gain from each of the following youth listed by name, age & Q:

DEF:

Sammy Goots         27     79

Angel Browning      18      76

N. Abutbul                 17      72

J. Humphrey             17      71

If each gains 2 Q I'm going to have a very improved team next season & I have 100+ friendlies to play & credits to burn.

MID:

Duane Holmes      20     78

Thomas Muller       17     70

I have some mid-20 yo players that could gain as well. But I'm counting on Holmes & Muller being big time players within 2 seasons. Holmes is almost there already but Muller needs a bit more workout.

ATT:

All,   I have young, good (Q>75) attackers & I want to get Fitzpatrick (78) up to Q80 & Roy (76) up to at least 79 by seasons end. Then with 75Q, age 20 Jack Rodgers as my 4th best attacker, I can sell him, for the right price.

If all goes well, I'm hoping to have a defense featuring my top 2 defenders avg Q >80 & a 3rd above 75 with 2 young defenders coming on strong.

My midfield should feature 4 Q>75 with at least 1 Q80.

My attackers should be able to have 3 with near or greater than 80--with spare players.

This leaves me with an older (32, Q 77) gk. I want to buy a better,  younger one but have already bought 3 this season. So a question I pose to my readers: do I buy the 4th player, take the hit this season if I can get a good value kp, or wait until next season & possibly settle for another veteran to come in?
